Bob Johnson has been with Hascal, Sjoholm & Company PS since 1996 and a shareholder since 1998. In his capacity as Director of
Tax Services , Bob manages the tax department and oversees administration of the firm’s tax policies and procedures.
Bob’s primary areas of emphasis are complex tax planning and representation of clients during tax controversies. Prior to entering public accounting, Bob was a revenue agent for the Internal Revenue Service. Utilizing
his prior experience, Bob has successfully represented scores of
clients in various matters before a variety of taxing authorities.
Bob received his BS in Accounting from Central Washington University and his Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University. He
is currently a member of the Washington Society of CPA’s (WSCPA)
Taxation Committee (former chair), the American Institute of CPA’s
(AICPA) Tax Section, and the WSCPA IRS Liaison Subcommittee (former
chair). Bob has also served on the Board of Directors of the Little Red School House and the Boy Scouts of America (Mt. Baker Council).
In his "spare time", Bob is involved in year-round sports with his boys, Ryan and Austin.
