Albert Hascal was born in 1914 in Toledo, Ohio. At thirteen years of age, Al jumped on a train and headed west. Al worked for several CPA firms between 1935 and 1948 including E.J. Milner & Co, Barrow Wade Guthrie, and Jarvis Moore. In 1948 Al joined with Fred Spurrell to form Spurrell & Hascal. In 1955, Mr. Spurrell left the firm, which then became Hascal & Company. In 1962, George Hornung and Fred Sjoholm joined the firm as new partners. The name was then changed to Hascal, Hornung & Sjoholm. Unfortunately, in 1964, Mr. Hornung passed away. The firm name was then changed to Hascal, Sjoholm and Company.
Over the years, Mr. Hascal has seen the firm grow from seven personnel at inception to what it is today. A large group of diverse talented individuals that are available to serve the needs of their clients.
Mr. Hascal retired in 1989 at the age of 75. He still resides in the Everett area.
